The Encyclopedia on Constantine represents the work of 150 authors in three volumes edited in their disciplines by P. BROWN, G. DAGRON, J. HELMRATH, A. MELLONI, E. PRINZIVALLI, S. RONCHEY, N. TANNER. The work aims to reconstruct the life and fortune of the emperor departing from the climate and environment expressed in his political and religious choices and following the reasons for his fortune in an attempt to analyse the significance of the relationship between Christianity and power.
